Assistant Facilities Manager

About the role:

We are currently offering the opportunity for the right candidate to take on a permanent full-time role as Assistant Facilities Manager to work within our Commercial Facilities Management Team.

Ideally, you will have gained experience within a property related environment (commercial, owners corporation or residential) and are keen to further develop your skills.

You will assist the commercial facilities management team to manage major Melbourne Commercial properties which includes the management of some iconic and important buildings in and around the Melbourne CBD.

The role includes but is not limited to:

    • Managing repairs and maintenance
    • Attending regular property inspections and reporting
    • Liaison with landlords and tenants and maintaining excellent relationships
    • Attend Client meetings together with the Managers
    • Insurance and Essential Safety Measures management and coordination
    • Administration support as required.

The successful candidate will have the following skills, experience, and attributes:

    • Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to prioritise
    • Excellent communication skills
    • A responsible and reliable work ethic
    • A willingness to continuously learn and develop skills and knowledge
    • Relevant work experience in a property management environment will be highly regarded
    • Qualifications in Property or a related discipline is preferable but not essential
    • Owners Corporation experience is beneficial but not essential
