Fitzroys has bolstered its agency division as capital continues to flow into Melbourne’s retail and commercial property markets from local interests and abroad.
Shawn Luo has been appointed as Senior Manager - Agency after more than six years’ experience in Melbourne’s property market, specialising in the sale of commercial real estate and development sites, and strengthening a team that has recently delivered record-breaking results across Melbourne’s investment property market.
Fitzroys Director Chris Kombi said Luo has produced outstanding outcomes for his clients through his thorough knowledge of the market and its participants.
“Fluent in Mandarin, Shawn has been particularly active with Chinese investors and syndicates and has built strong relationships with many of Melbourne’s mid and top-tier developers,” he said.
“Shawn has an excellent reputation for being a lead facilitator in dealings with offshore buyers from mainland China, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore.
“Shawn’s appointment reflects the growth of Fitzroys throughout Melbourne, and Fitzroys’ ongoing commitment to increase services to its international connections and secure the best possible outcomes for our clients.”
Kombi said capital inflows from overseas continue at strong levels given Australia’s safe haven investment status, and strong fundamentals have earned Melbourne’s iconic shopping strips a widespread reputation as fantastic investment opportunities.
“We’re excited by the ongoing growth of the agency team as Melbourne’s commercial property market continues to present strong opportunities, and we look forward to delivering more benchmark results on behalf of our clients heading into the new decade,” he said.
